Visits and Celebrations in Times of Covid-19: A Photoessay of my future in-laws and their love of family and pastrami.

Barry Resnick protecting from the cold and covid in his ranger's jacket, hat, and mask.  His son, my fiancé, drove him from Long Island to Jersey to pick up their favorite pastrami and corned beef sandwiches from Harold's New York Deli Restaurant as a birthday celebration.
The sun providing a spot of warmth. Mom's mask camouflaging with her new QVC coat and gloves. Everything matches. Her hand sanitizer hangs off her bag ready for use.
My fiancé yelling at his father to stop trying to hug his family and reminds him what it means to social distance and wear a mask.
Birthday and holiday celebrations in times of the pandemic. Masks and social distanced conversations where each party drove over an hour to see each other for 15 minutes in 30 degree weather in an empty parking lot.
We danced to stay warm while my Fiancé took this photo.

Marc's family has been coming here for decades. Harold's New York Deli sign shows the wear of years of service.
Food is ordered to go with warning signs to wear a mask and social distance in the front window.  The meal will be packed for the hour and a half drive and ate at different tables back home.
